What our clients are saying......

"PretaWeb have provided exemplary serviceduring the design and implementation process. Parramatta Stadium Trust recommends PretaWeb's services and we look forward to working with them again."

Michael Berdon Manager Parramatta Stadium Trust, NSW Department of Communities

"We became clients of PretaWeb over three years ago and the service and support we have received has been exceptional."

Catherine Gander, Executive Officer, NSW Women's Refuge Resource Centre

"It is extremely rare in my experience to have a team pick up a project like ours and get it right on the first attempt.  My sense is that you listen better than others - more than listen, you seem to comprehend the deeper, ineffable requirements more quickly than most."

John Wolpert, Executive, Innovation Exchange Network

Australia's first Open Source Business Cluster is launched at Google

On the 7 November 2008, Google hosted the launch of the NSW Open Source Business Cluster at their Sydney headquarters.

The event was attended by Government officials, open source vendors, procurement officers and IT managers.

Australian IT Service Providers Digital Armour Corporation, Syntonic Corporation Pty Ltd and PretaWeb Pty Ltd are the founding members of the Open Source Business Cluster. The initiative is supported by an establishment grant from the NSW Government (via the Department for State and Regional Development), which has embraced Open Source Software and Open Standards in recent years.

The cluster’s objectives are to:

  • Provide business and Government with a single point of contact for access to vendors offering consulting, development and support of open source solutions.
  • Inform business and Government on how to leverage off open source technologies to achieve greater value for money, higher quality software and fit to need outcomes.
  • Encourage open source companies to collaborate with the objective to market and sell  open source.
Please contact Virginia Choy from PretaWeb for further information.
